After arriving in Lhasa, the tour guide will present a sign and a khata (traditional Tibetan ceremonial scarf) to welcome the group at Lhasa Railway Station. The group will then drive to the city center to check into a hotel and rest while acclimatizing to the high-altitude environment.

This day is crucial for first-time tourists entering Tibet. Lhasa is about 3,650 meters above sea level, and its oxygen content is only about 65% of that in lowland areas of China. Most guests will experience symptoms of altitude sickness to varying degrees. Besides maintaining a calm mindset, avoiding strenuous exercise, drinking plenty of water, eating more fruits, and getting adequate rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. If you feel unwell, please contact the tour guide promptly to seek medical treatment.

2.抵达拉萨的当晚，请勿洗头/洗澡，注意预防感冒；拉萨早晚温差较大，请注意保暖，以免引起高原反应。

On the evening of your arrival in Lhasa, please do not wash your hair or take a shower to prevent catching a cold. There is a significant temperature difference between day and night in Lhasa; please keep warm to avoid triggering altitude sickness.

3.西藏当地酒店多为太阳能热水器，热水有时候可能不太热，敬请谅解。

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the Potala Palace, a palace-fortress complex built in the early 7th century, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the first batches of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level by the State Council, and a witness to Tibetan-Chinese harmony. Go to Potala Palace Square for a panoramic photo and then to the Medicine King Hill Platform to take a photo with the backdrop featured on the 50 Yuan RMB note.

After lunch, drive to the Jokhang Temple, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery built in 647 AD, which houses the golden statue of a 12-year-old Buddha Shakyamuni. Take a city walk through the ancient circumambulation path of Barkhor Street, walking alongside pilgrims who have traveled thousands of miles, prostrating every three steps, witnessing the faces of all beings and the vibrancy of life.

After breakfast at the hotel, drive along the Beijing-Tibet Expressway to the Nyenchen Tanglha Mountains viewing platform. Legend has it that the mountains and Namtso Lake were once a loving couple.

After lunch, arrive at Namtso Lake - Tashi Peninsula, the third largest saltwater lake in China, with a surface elevation of 4,718 meters. "Namtso" means "Heavenly Lake" in Tibetan, and it is also called "Tengri Sea" in Mongolian. It is one of the "Three Great Holy Lakes" of Tibet and a famous Buddhist pilgrimage site.

酒店早餐后，驱车雅叶高速、曲水县、翻越4998米的岗巴拉山口前往羊卓雍措，简称羊湖，与当雄纳木措、阿里玛旁雍措合称西藏三大圣湖，藏语中又被称为"上面的珊瑚湖"。是喜马拉雅山北麓最大的内陆湖泊，湖光山色之美，冠绝藏南。湖面积675平方千米，湖面海拔4,441米。

After breakfast at the hotel, drive along the Gya' Nyai Expressway, through Qushui County, and cross the 4,998-meter-high Kamba La Pass to Yamdrok Lake (often shortened to Yang Lake). Together with Namtso Lake in Damxung and Lake Manasarovar in Ngari, it is known as one of the Three Great Holy Lakes of Tibet. In Tibetan, it is also called "the turquoise lake above". It is the largest inland lake at the northern foot of the Himalayas, renowned for its stunning beauty of lakes and mountains, unparalleled in Southern Tibet. The lake covers an area of 675 square kilometers with a surface elevation of 4,441 meters.

午餐后，沿环湖路前往卡若拉冰川年楚河东部源头，西藏三大大陆型冰川之一。抵达英雄城江孜，参观白居寺始建1427年，一座塔寺结合的藏传佛教寺院建筑，塔中有寺、寺中有塔，寺塔天然浑成，相得益彰。

After lunch, drive along the lakeside ring road to the Karola Glacier, the eastern source of the Nianchu River and one of the three major continental glaciers in Tibet. Arrive in the heroic city of Gyantse and visit Palcho Monastery, founded in 1427. It is a unique Tibetan Buddhist monastery complex combining a stupa and temples, where the stupa and temples are naturally integrated and complement each other.

In the evening, arrive in Shigatse City, the administrative center of Tsang (Western Tibet).

After breakfast at the hotel, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. It was founded in 1447 by Gendun Drup, a disciple of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. It is one of the six great monasteries of the Gelug school and the traditional seat of successive Panchen Lamas. The monastery astonishes visitors with its magnificent architecture, exquisite art, and long history.

午餐后，沿318国道、雅江小峡谷返回拉萨。

After lunch, return to Lhasa via National Highway 318 and the Yarlung Tsangpo River Gorge.

晚间观看《文成公主》晚会，以拉萨自然山水为背景，讲述了1300多年前唐朝文成公主与吐蕃藏王松赞干布和亲的历史故事。全剧分为五幕，时长约90分钟，演出人员共计800余名。

In the evening, watch the "Princess Wencheng" Live Drama. Set against the natural landscape of Lhasa, it tells the historical story of the marriage between Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty and Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo over 1,300 years ago. The performance is divided into five acts, lasts about 90 minutes, and involves over 800 performers.
